Charlotte Erickson
3rd Year at Northwestern University | Dedicated to the Creation of Accessible Solutions

Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I am a current 3rd year at Northwestern University, with expected graduation in June 2027! I am pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a Design Concentration, as well as the Human-Computer Interactions certificate, and the Segal Design Certificate. After graduation, I plan to work in a design related field!
I'm extremely passionate about the intersection between creativity and analytics as a method for problem solving, and I strive to develop accessible solutions by implementing a user-centered design mindset at every step.
On campus, I am involved in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as the president of the HeForSWE committee. I am also a member of Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the off road racecar team. In my free time, I love pursuing creative interests such as sewing, crocheting, and ceramics.

I am very passionate about design, but also have many other interests!
I am pursuing an engineering major in addition to my design work and have gained lots of engineering experience because of this, as well as honing my problem-solving mindset! I also love to make art and ran my own small business selling handmade products! See links to other portfolio work below:
